William Mulhall has done a wonderful portrait of Traditional Irish singing legend Thomas MacEoin, based on his meeting with him in Conamhara in 1991 when Thomas was recording his now legendary 'Stolen Child' with Mike Scott, Musical Genius behind the WaterBoys - and a longstanding patron of the Apollo Gallery. Here is a photo of that meeting and also a reproduction of the final painting.
